Baruch’s CFA Club
by William Chan
The Financial Statement Analysis & Securities Valuation Association (CFA Club) is a club and extension of Baruch’s Executive MS in Financial Statement Analysis. The group welcomes all graduate students of differing financial expertise. We meet every Thursday from 9 – 10 pm at Baruch.
Our last next meeting took place on December 1st in Room 3-215. We analyzed a company’s financial statements and discussed the related value assigned by the public markets. We also talked about the current business environment, asset management careers, and educational topics found in the CFA curriculum.
Additionally, the forum is a place to make new or foster stronger relationships among the graduate student community. You will find the club’s name within Baruch’s Collegiate Link website where you can find more information. I hope to see new faces at the next meeting.
