Vote on important Baruch College Issues.   Through formal committees, represent students and make an impact on how the college determines fees, curricula, the hiring and dismissing of Faculty. More info here. Contact Emily Rotella to get involved.

Join our panel of experts, Jon Dickinson, Bruce Kahn, David Kooris & Chris Zeppie, to review the current state of climate change research and preparation in NYC and other urban centers. We will explore the issues of infrastructure, environmental and economic changes, and discuss tools to develop adaptation strategies and recommendations on how to achieve an effective climate resilience program.

An entirely new type of company, the Benefit Corporation has been created to marry the efficiency and discipline building effects of a profit motive with the social mandate of a nonprofit. This panel discussion will explain the certification process, tax benefits, environmental and social auditing standards, and first hand experience of companies belonging to the first generation of Benefit Corporations.
