Food Matters at Baruch

Guest speaker Benjamin Solotaire of the Brooklyn Food Coalition will be joining us to explain the much-talked about Farm Bill and how it will impact the cost, accessibility, nutrition and production of almost everything we eat!

About us: Food Matters at Baruch (FMB) represents collective of Graduate Students dedicated to bringing food-related educational, professional development, and service-oriented opportunities to Baruch’s campus.
Our mission is to expose the Baruch communitity to pertinent topics in food policy by hosting events with professionals in the public, non-profit and academic sectors. We also aim to serve as a platform for bringing together students who are passionate about food through organized volunteer outings and local/urban food tourism activities.

Zicklin Women in Business
Zicklin Women in Business presents the third annual International Women’s Day Luncheon. This year’s theme is “The Female Advantage – Women’s Ways of Leadership.” An incredible panel with Women Executives from different industries will be moderated by a NBC reporter and will discuss roles of women in corpporate America. Business dress is required. Lunch will be served. People of all genders are welcome to attend.
